All guests will receive a personalized guidebook 4 days prior to check in with WiFi, door code, and highlights on the amenities. Please remember that you're staying in our home, not a hotel. Please treat the cabin with respect. If any problems arise, we will do our best to take action ASAP, but there is no one living on-site 24/7. However, we have a local team if anything is needed. No smoking inside or on the deck of the cabin. We love hosting pet owners! If you’re bringing a dog, please add them on your reservation to reflect the pet fee nightly rate. $150 total flat fee for up to 2 dogs max. Undisclosed pets will be charge $500. We offer a pack and play on-site, please bring your own bedsheets for the pack and play. Pool Access: You will have free access to 3 outdoor clubhouse of the Chalet Village Owners Club. Open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. 9AM to 9PM. The Upper Alpine clubhouse is the closest with an outdoor pool with pool table, foosball, air hockey, video game and a game table. 1151 UPPER ALPINE ROAD This facility is CLOSED for maintenance on TUESDAY and WEDNESDAY. The S Baden Clubhouse has game room has pool tables, ping pong, foosball table, checkers, chess and video games and gym. This facility is CLOSED on TUESDAY for maintenance. 1319 SOUTH BADEN DRIVE The North clubhouse offers three swimming pools, lighted tennis courts, paved walking trail, ping pong, foosball, and assorted yard games. This facility is CLOSED on WEDNESDAY for maintenance. 705 VILLAGE LOOP ROAD Driving to the cabin - You will be driving up mountain roads on the way to the cabin. The roads are paved and well maintained by the City of Gatlinburg. A large garbage truck drives up 3x a week, if they can do it, you can too! The views and privacy at the top will be worth it. Gatlinburg is home to a thriving black bear population, they are a beautiful part of the area’s natural charm. It’s very likely you’ll see bears in the Chalet Village and surrounding area. We will provide bear proof instructions in our guidebook and check in process. We have Ring security camera in front of the driveway. Security cameras are activated by motion and will record anyone that walks in front of them. These recordings are saved and can be reviewed and shared with the booking platform, if needed. If we believe that house rules are being violated, we have the ability to access these cameras in real time.

This property was a dream to live in for the few, short days that my wife and I got to visit. And Jeff was fantastic to work with on getting there and throughout the stay. Jeff was kind and generous, and never failed to be as helpful as possible. All I can say about the experience is: That View!!! Oh my gosh!! What an amazing atmosphere up on top of the mountain, and looking at the whole Gatlinburg valley. I was gobsmacked from the first moment we arrived, and my wife was brought to tears momentarily as we entered the gorgeous cabin’s front living area. The decoration, and the furniture was perfectly chosen for the setting. Our stay could not have gone any better. Thank you Jeff for being so thoughtful and kind.

Our family had a great time at the 'Chalet in the Sky' and Jeff was an extremely friendly, and available, host! I already miss our quiet mornings on the deck, the spectacular views, and relaxing hot tub time. This rental was very clean and had everything we possibly needed for our comfort and pleasure. I appreciated the extra touches, like the family board games and pool table. All in all, a great experience!

Our recent stay here felt like a perfect little escape—quiet, relaxing, and surrounded by nature. The cabin was tucked up in the mountains with amazing views, especially early in the morning and at sunset. We can see the city of Gatlinburg in the night. Cabin itself was super cozy and clean. The hot tub on the deck was probably the best part—just sitting out there and taking in the view was so relaxing. It also felt private, but not too far from everything. We could get into town pretty easily. One of the coolest moment was spotting a bear family right next to the cabin. Overall, we had a really great time and would definitely come back.

View of the Gatlinburg city lights at night was fabulous as well as the view of Mt. Leconte...And the Tram was directly over the Chalet...Fsbuolous gas fireplace...But it should have been named "BEAR HAVEN" as we saw 5 bears in front of our chalet over 2 days!!!...If you want to see bears, then stay here!!!

We had a wonderful stay at Jeff’s cabin! It was perfect for our extended family, with three separate king suites, one on each floor. Our kids loved the downstairs gaming space, and we all appreciated the very nice sofa. The views were outstanding. Communication was fast and Jeff made sure we were taken care of.

You are staying at the BEST location in Gatlinburg. Only 4 miles away from downtown Gatlinburg and close to all the major attractions! Keep in mind you are in the mountains and will be driving winding mountain roads. Enjoy the views but be cautious of people and cars (and if you're lucky, bears) on the road. The cabin was recently remodel in 2024. This spacious mountain view chalet features 3 master suites, bunk beds, a large game room, 2-level decks with access to a private hot tub, relaxing swings, and large level parking! GATLINBURG: 4 miles down the hill PIGEON FORGE: 11 miles via US-321 DOLLYWOOD: 14 miles via US-321 SMOKY MOUNTAIN PARK: 3 miles from Park HQ and hiking trails CADES COVE: If you want to see more wildlife, Cades Cove is a great area to see bears, deer and turkeys! It is 32 miles. 1 hour 5 minutes to get there. Plan at least a 1/2 day here. The loop at Cade's cove is 10.6 miles. Drive it, bike it (bike rental available at the park entrance), or run it.
